| Description: |
I have a mostly-broken cd player, but I'm not getting an ipod. I enjoy a good game of go. it's not uncommon to see me hum a bassline into my cell phone. something about that round disc of egg in breakfast sandwiches disturbs me. I swear I have eyeballs; you can't always see them, that's all. my bedroom walls are bare...I should do something about that. I like 808 hand claps and snare drums. I like juanita's because everytime I'm there, something shifty happens. I'm going to do that webpage by the end of the month - promise. I don't know if I'll play wii lefty or righty. I've a head full of left-of-center ideas and I need more time in the day to get them all out.
that's about it. |

[22 Aug 2006 | Tuesday] | 3:17 PM - If you have a minute... ...Go to www.theautochannel.com. Just going there will increase ad impressions, making me money. :) PS. No popups. All on page, (hopefully) not obnoxious. PPS. The design was a real compromise; I stand firm on my opinions of flashing text et al. |

[19 Aug 2006 | Saturday] | 9:48 PM - random thoughts (pt 1) I'll preface this by saing that I don't claim to be original in the least.
-There are two states of any situation: pleasurable and not pleasurable. Situations which are more complicated than this should be broken down until each segment can receive one of these two states.
-Situations or sub-situations deemed pleasurable don't require much. Enjoy, but not to the point of excess. Excess enjoyment of a situation can cause a negative reaction on others.
-Situations or sub-situations deemed not pleasurable take more work. Before working on a solution, take a moment to appreciate where you are. The challenge presented is, to some degree, a test of your self (separated purposefully). These are the moments that temper you.
-Focus on a solution within. Without a proper mindset, nothing can be achieved. Take care of yourself.
I'm sure many muddled thoughts will continue. |

[09 Aug 2006 | Wednesday] | 4:53 AM - I Can't Rope the Bull. Current mood: awake It's a total failure. How am I supposed to win my Xbox? It even looks like it's a 360 up there. Not that I'm picky (I have neither). So, my mind is all kinds of scattered right now. First off, I should still be asleep and that's decidedly not the case. I woke up thinking about, of all things, music. Now I'm being very vain; everything from old 652.9 to the t-z-e demo to 10 gigaquads of live performances. All queued up, choking Winamp to death. "And I can't sleep." This thing...this thing that's going down...I've told some, definitely not many, because I'm all superstitious like that. I really want it to work. I need to try the "here, there, everywhere" to see how it works out for me. I'm no pro. I know pros. I've jammed with pros and felt incredibly humbled. The kind of situation that just makes you want to fall back and look at the men at work, y'know? I'm no pro. But I'm good. So, my mind's scattering apart again. Oh yeah, minna-san thanks for all the birthday wishes. If I didn't see you guys that day, I shoulda, and feel free to call me out on it. I'm yawning. I'll attempt to resume sleep.
Cheers -r |

[10 Jan 2006 | Tuesday] | 3:11 PM - Nothing can beat it. There's this total relaxation that comes with the knowledge that I won't be answering phones for work any more, hopefully ever. Oh, in other news, I got a flying v. Off-brand and right-hand, but awesome. If anyone knows a good luthier so I can get the strap button moved, you should let me know! |
