| Have lived in Louisville for about 3 years now... moved here for school; and i graduated with a Culinary Arts degree early 2004.. things i like: cooking, food conversation, cookbooks, photography, photoshop, tattoos, hardcore, metal, drawing, writing poetry, dining out, pretty girls. currently the majority of my time is spent at work or asleep. i'm a restaurant vampire, and probally don't have time to hang out w/ you unless you're on a similarly retarded schedule. and you happen to be up regularly after midnight. as one of my former roommates said: 'working in restaurants makes you become a vampire' ...which is pretty much true. i'm a hopeless workaholic - 50+ hour work weeks and 2 weeks without a day off are not rare occurances for me. i've been working in restaurants for almost 6 years and somehow created in myself this silly work ethic where i bust my ass, standing all day in a hot kitchen, burning myself (you should see my hands!)... and yet still love it. i can talk about any and all things food or restaurant related. i'm usually the first person anyone comes to with food related questions, even my boss. apparently i'm some sort of walking food dictionary. i need to get out more... i'm a nerd. esp. when it comes to food, or talking shop about restaurants. i'm passionate about so many things. i've had girls dump me because i'm emotional and affectionate. (isn't that what most girls want?!?) i take pride in every bit of anything i do and take my career very seriously. i may only be 21, but i'm a lot farther ahead in the game because of dedication, hardwork, and by putting my heart and soul into what i do. i have no regrets there. but in the rare moments i can spare away from work or sleep... i can usually be found in front of my computer, reading cookbooks and other food literature, watching movies, shooting photos, squeezing in nap time, xbox or gamecube with my roomies, getting tattooed (no where near as often as i should), or being boring - very boring. hmmm. entertain me. |
