I've broken my left wrist, and my right arm, both when I was a teenager. I had stitches on my eyebrow once. Sadly, it didn't leave any cool scars. |

| Ever see 'Network'? I agree with Howard Beale... |
| I haven't been a big fan of radio since the 1996 Telecom act allowed a single corporation to own literally thousands of radio stations, leading to the rise of Clear Channel... and then boy bands... mainstream music may never recover, and so, I say... fuck it. Oh, but KRCL in Salt Lake, Utah is good. KALX in Berkeley is also good, basically the same thing, but more eclectic... and way more cracked out. |
| It's eclectic. Here's a short list of my favorites. The Bad Plus, Radiohead, Aesop Rock, Calla, The Beatles, Sonic Youth, Pink Floyd, Autolux, Les Claypool, Tom Waits, The Who, Pavement, Ugly Casanova, Neutral Milk Hotel, Nick Drake, Immortal Technique, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Elliott Smith, Nine Inch Nails, Bjork, The Pixies, Beck, Johnny Cash, Mogwai, Beastie Boys, TV on the Radio, Spoon, Tori Amos, The Violent Femmes, Tool, Garbage, Portishead, The White Stripes, Soul Coughing, PJ Harvey, EELS, Modest Mouse, Iron and Wine... this is not a short list... but it's also very incomplete. |
| House of Leaves, Mark Z. Danielewski. Idlewild, Edenborn, and Everfree, Nick Sagan. Debunking 9/11 Debunking, David Ray Griffin. Choke, Chuck Palahniuk. Invisible Monsters, Chuck Palahniuk. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (all 5 of them), Douglas Adams. The Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul, Douglas Adams. A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, Dave Eggers. The Dark Tower books by Steven King. Hegemony or Survival, Noam Chomsky. Actually, anything by Chomsky. Kissing in Manhatten, David Schickler. Anything by Hunter S. Thompson. The Exception to the Rulers, Amy Goodman. |
| People are good. I like them. Without them, I'd get really bored. And, honestly... if no one ever irritated me, what would I have to rant about? |

| The Political Agnostics | Clubs > political |
Our current political system thrives on division, aggression towards people who disagree, and the extreme polarization of every issue. This club is for anyone who wants question what they think they know about America and politics. It's for people who are willing to listen to other opinions and critically think about them. If this is you, please join this club and start an open dialogue about something. You won't be judged or attacked by me for any honest opinions/beliefs you hold. I only ask the same from you.
